At our dental office in East Downtown Houston, you will encounter a compassionate and friendly team with professional dental providers who want you to feel most comfortable. As a specialized team, we’re here to ensure your dental needs. Whether preventative, restorative, or cosmetic dental care, we will put you at ease during your visit.

When you visit us, we want you to leave your visits with a thorough understanding of your treatment plan. We will review and explain any dental treatment you might need. Most importantly, we want to make sure you also know how to care for your bright smile at home too! Dr. Natalie Carrizales

Dr. Carrizales was born and raised in Houston, TX. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in neuroscience from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. For a year, she worked as a cord blood collector for MD Anderson, helping bring transplants to patients suffering from lymphomas and leukemia. It is not surprising that she chose dentistry as one of the many routes that she helps others. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry.

Dr. Carrizales is an empathetic and compassionate individual who cares about her community and patients. She volunteers her time with Catholic Charities and has served as a catechist. The highlight is seeing children active in the church. Dr. Carrizales also actively volunteers for Baker Ripley Neighborhood Centers and NALEO helping refugees and immigrant residents. She often works with congress representatives and lawyers to aid immigrant families.

Dr. Carrizales enjoys reading books with her younger sisters, participating in anime and comic conventions with her brother and she loves discovering new fooderies with her mother and grandparents. She unwinds painting with acrylics and oils, riding her vintage cruiser bike, and listening to a variety of music. She is also a fitness enthusiast and is an energetic, social individual that thrives in multicultural settings.

Living in the EaDo community with her husband and beautiful son, Dr. Carrizales is looking forward to meeting patients who are also neighborhood friends!

Dr. Naeem Ali

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Naeem Ali is a long-time Houston native. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Management Information Systems. Dr. Ali continued on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Upon completion, Dr. Ali returned home to Houston to complete his residency and earn a Specialty Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In his continued commitment to education, Dr. Ali obtained board certification with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Ali looks forward to improving the oral health of this community. As his patient, you can expect comfortable, safe, and high-quality dental care. Paired with the knowledge and efficiencies of our team, we will work together to improve and maintain your oral health so you can have the smile of your dreams.
Away from the office, Dr. Ali enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two boys. Together they can be found traveling, exploring the culinary scene of Houston, or watching the Rockets.

Dr. Mehar Khan

General Dentist
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Mehar Khan is passionate about restoring smiles in the community she calls home. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Austin before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UTHealth School of Dentistry in Houston.
Dr. Khan is a general dentist focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She has experience in restorative dentistry, endodontics, pediatrics, surgical extractions, cosmetic dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and effective treatment planning. She is also laser certified, trained in nitrous oxide administration, and skilled in procedures such as Icon resin infiltration and mandibular molar endodontics.
Known for her bubbly personality and exceptional communication skills, Dr. Khan enjoys building genuine connections with her patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their dental visits. She is fluent in Urdu and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Outside the dental office, Dr. Khan enjoys playing pickleball, practicing Pilates, and participating in retail therapy.

Dr. Ahmed Elbria

Orthodontist

Dr. Ahmed Elbira is a board-certified orthodontist dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. He completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry from Jacksonville University after receiving his dental training in Libya and Egypt. Dr. Elbira provides a full range of orthodontic services, including early orthodontic treatment, braces, and clear aligner therapy. He is committed to creating personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals while delivering efficient, precise, and aesthetically pleasing results.

Outside the office, Dr. Elbira enjoys spending time with his family, automotive performance and racing, playing soccer, traveling, and video games.
